Haven’t visited the Mirador Torre Glòries this summer yet? Here’s the perfect excuse to do so! Every Tuesday throughout the summer, visitors can enjoy the playful sculpture Cloud Cities Barcelona with no additional cost and experience one of the most fun and memorable moments of the visit with family or friends. Get ready to walk among the clouds at 130 metres above the ground and have your camera ready to capture the most original photos inside the sculpture.
What is Cloud Cities Barcelona?
Cloud Cities Barcelona is a playful sculpture created by internationally renowned artist Tomás Saraceno. Suspended at the top of the observation deck’s dome on the 30th floor of Torre Glòries, the sculpture is much more than a contemplative work of art. Visitors can enter and explore its interior as if they were walking among the clouds, making it an ideal experience for both children and adults. It is the perfect way to complete your visit to the Mirador Torre Glòries after enjoying breathtaking 360º views of Barcelona and its iconic landmarks, such as the Sagrada Família, from 125 metres above the city.
What should I know before visiting Cloud Cities Barcelona?
Access to the sculpture is permitted for visitors aged 8 and over. Children under the age of 13 must be accompanied by an adult. To enjoy the experience comfortably, we recommend wearing comfortable clothing and closed-toe shoes, and avoiding skirts or dresses made from delicate fabrics, as moving through the sculpture requires bending down and navigating narrow spaces. To help you prepare for your visit and the Cloud Cities Barcelona experience, we recommend reviewing the sculpture’s access guidelines through this link.
