This May, we celebrate the anniversary of Mirador Torre Glòries: three years since we opened our doors to offer a new way of seeing Barcelona. A view from above, yes—but also through art, technology, and an emotional connection to the city and its future.
And we do so in a very special year. In addition to this 3rd anniversary, Torre Glòries celebrates its 20th anniversary, and this September we will host the Annual Convention of the World Federation of Great Towers (WFGT): the international gathering that will bring to Barcelona the representatives of iconic towers such as the Eiffel Tower, the Empire State Building, The Shard or Tokyo Tower.
Hosting this global event during our anniversary is much more than a coincidence: it’s a recognition of the role that the Mirador has gained in the world of urban and cultural tourism. Since 2022, more than 300,000 visitors have rediscovered Barcelona from our 125-meter-high observatory, with 360° views, immersive art (Cloud Cities Barcelona), and experiences that invite us to imagine the cities of the future.
